The abstract gallery is a collection of pieces produced over the past several years. These works are a sampling of paintings from series I have done. My art reflects my spiritual approach to the world I live in. I use a bold color palette to express the richness of the world. Layers of paint, symbolize the layers of life, showing the depth of the human experience. Color is my most favorite tool. To me, it conveys mood, feeling, energy and a capacity to heal. My most recent series is the metallic paintings with a large moon. These pieces symbolize the relationship between the universe and man. They feature people’s living environment, whether it be a house, apartment or condo, in a city, suburbia, or country. The metallic glaze, over rich colors, creates a visual effect that changes with the lighting. The lunar aspect reflects, night, subconscious, and dreams.
